1. Acceptable Use Protocol

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from:

• Providing fraudulent or misleading information in quote requests.
• Attempting to bypass our security protocols or device fingerprinting.
• Using the Platform to distribute malicious software or spam.
• Interfering with the operation of business nodes within the marketplace.

2. Quotation & Project Valuation

Quotes generated through our automated terminal are estimates based on provided data. We reserve the right to adjust final valuations after a formal discovery phase. A project is only considered "Active" once a formal specification is signed and the initial 50% commitment is received.

3. Marketplace Governance

Membership in the padlock.works marketplace is by invitation only. Verified businesses must maintain high standards of service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any business node that receives verified complaints or violates our community trust guidelines.

4. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, and systems developed by padlock.works remain our property until final payment is cleared. Once a project is fully paid, the client is granted a perpetual license to use the specific instance of the product. Our proprietary core architecture and "Warm Mastery" design standards remain the property of padlock.works.

5. Limitation of Liability

padlock.works acts as a facilitator and service provider. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Platform or services provided by marketplace members. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nakuru or Nairobi.
